Current Scenario
At this moment Roncar is one of the largest industries of motorcycle parts in the country. There are about 4 thousand items of production (April of 2006) and an average of 5 products release per week. Nationally avowed as the company of best quality in the division, it was chosen to supply the main assembly plants of the country like Suzuki, Sundown, Kasinski, and others.
History
Roncar started in 1979 as a small station to exchange exhaust of cars in Ribeirão Preto and with time it started growing until becoming the main symbol of the section in the city. It has won the Top of Mind for 5 consecutive years, with a difference of 60% over the second place. There were eight shops in the city in 1990. In 1986 it acquired a small industry of exhaust and accessories for motorcycles and started the production of original and sporting exhausts, accessories for national and imported motorcycles and cars. At the moment the industry is located at Vila Mariana district, in Ribeirão Preto, and there are more than 7000m2 of built area. In this year an expansion work started to build one more hangar of 3000m2. The own ground is presently 18.500m2 and it can hold more hangars of production if needed.
The shop with 3.200m2 built areas is located on Francisco Junqueira Av., a traditional and busy spot of the city, consisting of one of the largest companies in the branch of auto parts and motorcycle parts of the region.
Collaborators
Roncar employs more than 300 workers in its productions areas, administration and shops in the city. Always concerned with the well-being of the collaborators, the company looks forward to exceeding the expectations of the employees with courses, entertainment, information and a great labor plan, like medical insurance, complimentary food, life insurance, profit sharing and others.
Branch
The activity branch of the company is motorcycle and auto parts, producing exhausts and accessories for both of them. This branch is increasing in Brazil, it increases around 2 digits a year, despite the number of foreign assembly plants that are setting up factories in the country or already did. The raw production materials are basically made of plate, carbon steel tube, aluminium, stainless steel and carbon fiber. These materials are obtained from Brazilian companies in the states of São Paulo, Paraná and Santa Catarina.
Products and Brands
Among the lines of production we have original and sporting exhausts, luggage compartment, handlebars, rear-view mirror, motor protectors, grips, handles, supports, pedals, sissy-bars and many others. The most well known brands are Coyote - boasting a line of the most popular sporting exhaust sold in Brazil, Aluminium line - low cost sporting exhaust, Scorpion line - accessories for motorcycles custom and the new Penélope line, accessories for female consumers.

Focus
Its line of products is mainly divided into two main industries, the replacement trade, products similar to the original ones to keep the vehicle working and the accessories trade, which aims at personalizing, safety and performance of the motorcycles and cars. The main attribute related to Roncar products is the quality (research performed between 2004 and 2005 at events of motorcycles).
Performance
Roncar functions in all national and international land, it sells mainly to wholesale business, ranging from small factories to big specialized shops, dealer shops and distributors. Nowadays Roncar has resellers in the USA, Europe and countries of the Mercosul, due to our large line of products, selling our parts to consumers from everywhere in the world is common.

Communication
Roncar prides itself on the voice it bears to the industry, advertising in almost all of the specialized magazines, like Duas Rodas, Motociclismo, Moto Max, Supermoto and others. Our goal is keeping the bikes lovers aware of our last releases and also fortifying the brand, so that the customer will ask for our products and the resellers are favored. Besides magazines advertisement, Roncar is a strong image on events of the sector, like Salões and motorcycles meetings, for that we have 10 motorcycles for exposition, jeeps, pickups and trucks.
The events are very important because besides the divulgation of productions information and the connection with the customers, Roncar always performs researches asking for opinions about our products, suggestions, and others information in order to keep Roncar as the leader in the national trade. Many others tools of communication are used, like our website, one of the most complete in the world. It has recorded pioneer videos with the motorcycles roaring, so that the customer checks out the sound ejected by the exhaust of Roncar.
Roncar also sponsors the best motorcycle show team in Brazil, the Força e Ação team. (www.forcaeacao.com.br).
Legislation
Beyond the communication tools used to sell and also the brand, Roncar wants to step forward in others segments, like responsibility with the society, nature and legislation. Roncar is the only national company that performs roaring award of its exhausts, proving that is under the law and respects the rules. We are developing an award of IBAMA to eject our pollutants, seeking to be less aggressive with the environment. Performance tests are also often performed through our dynamometer specially developed to perform most of potency from the motorcycle with our exhausts.
Future
In 2006, Roncar made the biggest investment of its history, acquiring big machines that no other industry of the same division has ever had, like automated galvanoplasty, polishing with exhaust fan and many others. For that, 2006 is considered “The year of internal investment”. We look forward of acquiring many other trades in a near future, mainly the international trade, because we are proud of selling a Brazilian product, which is as good as any other product in the world, to all of the countries. With our creativity and with the help of our motorcyclists, we will reach our goal, after all, as most of you know, Roncar is passionate by the motorcycle business because its directors are motorcyclists “addicted”.
